There is always a lot going on at CanLift!

We are looking for an individual who is skilled and experienced with repairing and maintaining various types of Aerial Lift Equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, superior time management skills. Mechanical background knowledge of various engines and extensive knowledge of equipment, both Electrical and Hydraulic.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting of rental, sales and customer equipment. Detailed documentation of all service on work orders, legibly and accurately, with work performed, parts used and inspections completed. Diagnosing issues, looking up parts in manuals and quoting customer repairs. Preparing / Inspecting equipment for rental contracts and for units sold to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to diagnose and research mechanical issues using computerized and/or other testing equipment
  • Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand and power tools
  • Completion of post-secondary and in an apprenticeship program OR over 5 years work experience in the mechanical trade
  • Knowledge of how to operate Aerial Lift Equipment and/or Construction Equipment
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills and a drive to get things done!

3. Technology Coordinator

Job Title: Business Systems and Technology Coordinator
Department: IT

Job Overview

We are hiring a Business Systems and Technology Coordinator to support daily IT operations, digital systems, website updates, user access, devices, onboarding, and internal tools. A major component of this role is supporting our Point of Rental platforms (Elite and POR ONE). This includes managing user accounts, permissions, configurations, workflows and coordinating support cases with the vendor.
The goal is to remove technical and operational tasks from senior leadership, improve consistency across departments, and give staff the tools and support they need to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Point of Rental (Elite and POR ONE)

  • Administer user accounts, roles, permissions and access.
  • Configure settings, workflows and security based on departmental needs.
  • Manage support cases with Point of Rental and follow them through to resolution.
  • Assist teams with understanding system functions, updates and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation for recurring procedures, configurations and user setups.

IT and Systems

  • Support laptops, tablets, phones, printers, webcams and office hardware.
  • Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 users and security settings.
  • Maintain hardware inventory and oversee Rogers mobile devices.
  • Coordinate with our managed IT provider for network, ISP, firewall and phone issues.
  • Enforce MFA, password policies and access audits.
  • Manage vendor renewals and contract timelines.

Web and Digital

  • Update WordPress pages and content based on instructions from the SEO/PPC agency.
  • Manage WP Engine hosting, DNS, domains and SSL certificates.
  • Control access to all social media accounts and schedule content using AI.
  • Manage NiceJob customer review outreach.

Data, BI and AI

  • Assist with preparing data for reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate with BI consultants on access and deliverables.
  • Support internal AI tools, custom GPTs and simple automations with tools like n8n.
  • Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other LLMs.
  • Exposure to vibe coding platforms like Replit, Bolt, Lovable and others.
  • Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol).

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Complete technical onboarding for new hires: accounts, devices, permissions.
  • Complete all offboarding tasks: account removal, device wipe and number reassignment.

SOP and Documentation

  • Maintain SOP libraries and templates.
  • Keep system instructions, onboarding steps and configuration guides up to date.

Project and Vendor Coordination

  • Track deadlines, follow-ups and actions for tech-related projects.
  • Lead initial evaluations when new software or tools are considered.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years in IT support, digital operations or systems administration.
  • Experience with cloud tools and user management.
  • Strong technical problem solving skills.
  • Experience with Point of Rental (Elite or ONE) is a major advantage.
  • Ability to learn quickly and stay organized across multiple systems.

Compensation

  • $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.
  • Benefits, RRSP matching and opportunities for development.
