Marko Dragicevic
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Marko is Co-founder of CanLift Equipment Ltd. and oversees key operational areas of the business, including service, parts, and rentals. With over 25 years of experience in the aerial equipment industry, he brings deep technical knowledge and a strong understanding of fleet management and market demand.
Since co-founding CanLift in 2009, Marko has played a critical role in building and expanding the company’s service and parts division, which has consistently delivered strong year-over-year growth. He has also led the introduction of equipment reconditioning services, further strengthening CanLift’s capabilities and value offering.
Marko is heavily involved in capital planning and fleet strategy, ensuring the company’s equipment mix aligns with market needs while maintaining strong returns on investment. His disciplined approach to operations and asset management has been a key driver of CanLift’s long-term growth and performance.
Johnny Dragicevic
CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Johnny is Co-founder of CanLift Equipment Ltd. and leads the company’s overall operations and sales strategy. With a strong background in both technical trades and sales, he brings a practical, results-driven approach to growing the business.
Before co-founding CanLift in 2009, Johnny built a successful career in real estate, becoming a top-producing agent shortly after earning his license in 2003. His drive to differentiate and challenge traditional sales and marketing approaches played a key role in shaping the foundation of CanLift.
Since its inception, Johnny has helped grow the company into one of Southern Ontario’s most recognized and trusted aerial lift equipment providers, with a continued focus on customer relationships and service excellence.
Johnny studied as a Mechanical Technician and holds a Journeyman Tool & Die License, giving him a strong technical foundation that complements his leadership in sales and operations.
Christine DeSousa
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Christine is the Financial Controller at Canlift Equipment Ltd. She holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation from CPA British Columbia. She is a highly skilled business executive with years of experience including as Finance Manager for a Fortune 500 company and multiple finance roles in successful corporations. Christine is recognized as a skilled leader and can be relied on to manage all key financial data and resources.
In her current role, Christine directs all financial aspects of CanLift’s business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, interfacing with the financial community, financial analysis, and monitoring of financial performance. She is instrumental in the success of CanLift’s day-to-day operations as well as long-term business achievements.
When she’s not spending time at work, Christine is outside walking with all her rescue dogs or travelling to warm places.
Ryan Fitzgibbon
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND TECHNOLOGY
Ryan Fitzgibbon is Co-founder and Director of Marketing and Technology at CanLift Equipment Ltd., where he leads the company’s technology strategy and digital transformation efforts. He focuses on improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and driving growth through systems, data, and marketing initiatives.
He has been instrumental in modernizing CanLift’s internal infrastructure, implementing solutions that streamline workflows across sales, service, and operations. More recently, Ryan has led the integration of AI into the business, developing practical tools and processes that improve productivity, decision-making, and overall performance.
As co-founder, Ryan also plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, helping guide long-term growth and operational improvements.
Ryan studied at the University of Guelph and Sheridan College, where he developed his foundation in information technology. He continues to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, with a focus on applying them in practical, real-world business environments.
Joe Gould
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Joe is Director of Business Development at CanLift Equipment Ltd., where he leads growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, and market expansion efforts. He focuses on building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities to drive revenue and long-term value.
With a strong background in sales and leadership within the equipment and machinery industry, Joe brings a practical, results-driven approach to business development. Prior to joining CanLift, he held senior roles where he developed sales strategies, led teams, and contributed to sustained business growth.
Joe is known for his ability to connect with customers, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that support their success. His experience and forward-thinking approach play an important role in strengthening CanLift’s position in the market and supporting continued growth.
Kimani Davis
MANAGER, PARTS & SERVICE
Kimani is a highly skilled and results-driven Service and Parts Manager at CanLift, with a strong track record of streamlining operations, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams. With several years of hands-on experience in both service and parts, Kimani brings a practical, leadership-focused approach to her role.
At CanLift, Kimani plays a key role in ensuring service operations run smoothly and that parts inventory is managed effectively to reduce downtime and meet customer needs. Her proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement have helped optimize day-to-day processes and enhance overall team efficiency.
Alex Kidd
LOGISTICAL MANAGER
Alex is CanLift’s Logistical Manager, where he oversees dispatch operations, coordinating drivers and scheduling routes to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries. He takes a hands-on approach, working closely with both drivers and customers to keep operations running smoothly.
With nearly 10 years of experience as a truck driver in the construction and rental equipment industry, Alex brings valuable real-world knowledge to his role. Known for strong communication and the ability to perform under pressure, he has played a key role in increasing delivery volumes while improving efficiency and service reliability.
Outside of work, Alex is a former professional wrestler who enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and serving as a Dungeon Master in Dungeons & Dragons.
Ryan Medeiros
OPERATIONS MANAGER, LONDON
Ryan Medeiros is the Operations Manager for CanLift’s London-area branch in Dorchester, where he oversees daily operations, fleet performance, and team execution. With over 12 years of industry experience, he brings a strong operational background and a deep understanding of rental logistics and customer service.
Prior to joining CanLift Equipment Ltd., Ryan worked as a Rental Coordinator, building hands-on experience in fleet management, dispatch, and customer support. In his current role, he is responsible for the efficiency, safety, and profitability of the Dorchester branch, ensuring equipment is well-maintained, compliant, and ready to meet customer demand.
Ryan leads the branch team across service, yard, and logistics functions, with a focus on accountability, performance, and delivering a consistent customer experience. His practical approach and attention to detail play a key role in supporting the growth and reliability of CanLift’s London operations.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys attending sporting events and live music concerts.
