New Mast Design on the SJ20
One attribute of the SJ 20 is the new mast design by SkyJack. The inverted 5-section mast has large overlaps to help increase rigidity. The larger section at the top of the design prevents debris ingress. A closed multi-stage cylinder means site debris buildup and damage to components are minimized. The rigid design results in smooth operation at height. The mast on the SJ 20 is free from any chains, sheaves or bushings to reduce maintenance.
The SkyJack SJ 20’s State-of-the-Art Traversing Platform
The SJ20’s has a robust all-steel platform, which incorporates a manually operated traversing deck feature and provides 16 inches of up-and-over capability. This can be released with a simple to use foot pedal, which can be locked in various positions. When moved forward into service position, the platform provides full access to the base service hatch. The self-closing full height spring hinged gate provides easy entry into the platform for ultimate safety when using the SkyJack SJ20.
